Level A (Pemula)
Sophie loves animals, especially kittens. One rainy afternoon, she hears a soft meowing outside her house. She runs to the garden and finds a tiny white kitten shivering under a bush.
“Oh no! You must be cold and hungry,” Sophie says. She picks up the kitten and brings it inside.
She gives the kitten warm milk and a soft blanket. “I will call you Snowball,” she says, smiling.
For days, Snowball stays with Sophie, playing and sleeping beside her. But one morning, Sophie wakes up and finds Snowball missing!
“Where did you go?” she asks, searching under the bed, behind the couch, and in the garden.
Finally, she hears a tiny meow from a tree. Snowball is stuck on a branch!
Sophie quickly calls her dad, and together they bring Snowball down. Sophie hugs the kitten tightly. “Don’t run away again!” she says. Snowball purrs happily.
