Level B (Menengah)
Clara lives in a lighthouse with her father, the lighthouse keeper. She loves the sea, but storms make her nervous.
One night, a great storm rolls in. The waves crash against the rocks, and the wind howls. Suddenly, the lighthouse light flickers and goes out!
“Father, the light!” Clara cries.
Her father grabs his tools but the wind is too strong.
Thinking fast, Clara runs to the top of the lighthouse, holding a lamp high.
A distant ship sees her light and changes course, avoiding the dangerous rocks.
“You saved them,” her father says proudly.
Clara learns that courage comes when we least expect it.
